Avoid Saturdays — it’s packed with local school groups and you’ll spend 15 minutes waiting for a single button.
The museum is part of a larger complex with a cozy cafe. The pancakes are excellent and kid-friendly.

A Real Parent's Story
A button-pressing paradise
“My son ran from display to display pressing every single button. Each train started, each light flickered — he was the conductor of an entire country. We barely made it through in 3 hours because he refused to leave the moving train section.”

I expected a quiet museum. What I got was a child-powered theme park. The maquette has actual water flowing through canals, tiny factories with smoking chimneys, and trains that whistle. My 5-year-old spent 20 minutes just making the same train go back and forth. The attention to detail is insane — there’s even a tiny wedding scene and a bear chasing a beekeeper in the forest section.
